Puri Irrigation Division
Jurisdiction- Puri Irrigation Division incharge of Irrigation Command of Daya Bhargabi Deak which is part
of Delta stage.It is a major Irrigation Project.It Irrigates 38,430.43 hs. If certified ayacut which is being
commanded by two branch canals namely Sakhigopal branch canal & Kanas branch canal. The length of
sakhigopal branch canal is 43.830 Kms.which runs by the side of Bhargabi right embankment.Similarly the
Kans branch canal is 40110 Kms which runs by the side of Daya left embankment.It is a canal net works
consists 9 nos.of distributaries and 162 nos.of minors and sub minors length 602 kms in addition to the above
Irrigation systems this division looks after some major flood ans saline embankment as detailed below.
