KEROSENE
OBJECTIVE
Kerosene allocation for the district is fixed by the Government of Orissa on monthly basis and State Government receives monthly allocation from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for the distribution to the ration card holders under Public Distribution System. Present monthly allocation Kerosene for the district is 1236 Kl.
The Oil Company wise allocation of kerosene received from the state level coordinator, IOC, Bhubaneswar. The SKO is being distributed @ 3.5 liters per Card.
The Kerosene is supplied by the Government of India through following Oil companies as per the ratio prescribed by the Government of India :-
- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
- Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
- Indo-Burma Petroleum Corporation Ltd.
- Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.
The Block / NAC & Municipality wise allocation is communicated to all the BDOs/Executive Officers of ULBs, all M.L.A., MPs, Panchayat Samiti Chair persons and Oil companies. The BDOs & Executive Officers are making dealer wise allocation, and inform the quantity to be supplied by the dealers to each Card Holders.
